We have been to many plays here over the years. It is a very intimate theatre which puts you right up front on matter where you sit. They usually have musical entertainment prior to the show so be sure to come early. Great selection of plays. I would recommend you experience this theatre.
The team here is always putting together something new and AMAZING. I go to as many events as I can at this facility and everyone is so nice and helpful...
Tasteful decor, clean and nice with great bathrooms as I recall. Very small theatre so you have a more personal experience with the show.
This was our first time, but it won't be our last, visit to Stage 3. We saw a total mesmerizing production of "Kate" (the life of Katheryn Hepburn.) It knocked our socks off, especially for a one-woman cast! Nice bar, fun pre-show live music, and great seating for about 80 folks. Definitely suggest reservations/ pr-purchase of tickets.
Small, quaint and eminently likeable. We watched "Talk Radio" and were impressed by the professionalism of the cast and direction. We're looking forward to seeing "Kate" in the next week. Tom
I have been to almost every performance at this quaint little theater since I moved to Sonora in 2014. Small, intimate, and always professional, quality productions. I highly recommend if you are a live theater buff. (and even if you're not, give it a shot. You just may love it!
One of the best, quaint playhouses in the Motherload! The audience sits around the play and very close to the action! The playhouse specializes in new creative plays! You will not be disappointed! You will laugh, cry and Fill the play like no other!
Stage 3 is a small theater seating about 80 in U shaped seats on 3 sides of the stage. Sometimes you feel like you are in the play. Unique plays presented with local and regional actors, generally dramas or comedies, and a few smaller scale musicals. Entry room to the theater has a small stage, tables and a wine bar.... 更多
Intimate venue, all seating close to stage. Actors able to bring everyone into the story. Local and experienced actors. A fun evening, with nourishment, and libation a short walk.
We drove from a neighboring county. The play was called Almost Maine which is a romantic comedy. It was cute. There were 2 acts. Within in act were short segments portraying different actors. I will definitely go see another play there.
