Our first visit to Sonoma and the Tourism Office was of great assistance. The staff had all the answers to our questions and the handouts/maps necessary to get-around. A great first stop to get started in the right direction.
We visited the Sonoma County Tourism office during our visit to the valley. The people in the office were very helpful and provided us with suggestions on free tastings as well as giving us some 2 for 1 coupons.

These folks do a good job of responding to inquiries, adding appropriate info and not going overboard with enthusiasm (as some tourist office staff do). Definitely recommended for one of your first stops in Sonoma.
Although I live nearby, I have stopped in several times and know they promote many activities in the area. They have maps and flyers to show wineries, restaurants, lodgings, museums, art festivals, etc. When our Depot Park Museum has an exhibit, they take the flyer/card and make it available to the visitors who request info.
