This historic model of the entire bay and surrounding estuaries gives a unique understanding of how the bay works. It's fun, wheelchair accessible, and a great rainy day activity.
From the entrance the building appear modern but once passed the introduction film it a a step back to the 1950s when the model was built. First visit after thinking about visiting for about 30 years. All locals should visit here at least once (sooner rather than later). Free though a $5 donation is suggested. Visited for a short while. A lot of effort has been put in, a model of the Bay Area and the Sausalito area. Very interesting and very in-depth. Just stopped for a short while.
