This large Japanese Garden is tucked away in Saratoga on Hwy 9 done by a prominent landscape artist from Japan, It is large enough to hold events there.
We went on a weekday, it is like stepping back in time or going to another country. This garden is over 100 years old and very well maintained. This lovely, peaceful expanse provides a break from the hustle and bustle of the world. With its 18 acres of gardens, waterfalls, and ponds, it provides a wonderfully tranquil way to spend a few hours.

After living in Saratoga for over 13 years, I finally went to visit Hakone Gardens this year. And I am sorry to say that the visit was a major disappointment. The gardens are in need to have good upkeep for the landscape and the ponds.
