From the antique stores, clothes stores, furniture stores, thrift shops, wine bars to restaurants.......they are all great. Love spending an afternoon here.
I wandered up and down the small historic district and get into a few shopped. Most fascinating was a shop that had shelved filled with games from my childhood. A spoke with some of the local residents and found that the area was having a problem with homeless people, some being aggressive. but I never had a problem. I simply... 更多
I arrived early for lunch so took a stroll on 4th. It's been awhile since I was last there and was surprised at the similar type of stores on the block. Furniture, thrift and antiques are plentiful. Not sure I'd want to hang out here at night but definitely during the day.
We like the Railroad Square area of Santa Rosa. i like the Hotel La Rose, coffee houses, restaurants, and boutique stores. This time we had Sunday Brunch at The Pullman Station. I also like the Peanuts Statues throughout the area. The one thing I noted however is there are a lot more homeless now in the area so just be... 更多
From Antique and Furniture Stores (Furniture Depot), to coffee shops, and restaurants, I've not had a bad experience here. Omelette Express will fill you up for breakfast, and several restaurants offer a nice variety of good food at decent prices, perfect spot for lunch or dinner.
This is a lovely area of old Santa Rosa. There are a few restaurants to drop into or just get a very good cup of coffee and a pastry at the shop on the north side of the square.

Only negative thing was the somewhat large homeless population nearby. I think there is a soup kitchen down the street. Would be cautious on the outskirts of the square after dark.
We visited just after lunch time and found many places shut. Some only seemed to open Fridays and Saturdays and other more restricted hours within the day. Many strange (homeless?) people wandering around or sitting on the grass. The old buildings are interesting and if you hit it right I am sure some of the shops will be of interest.... 更多
Well it's got a railroad and there is a square and some old/historic buildings but also has loads of homeless people rude helpers in the tourist information and some very overpriced eateries. So not worth visiting as far as we are concerned.
