The courtyard is between a couple fascinating corridors with shops and restaurants. It can be tough to choose. But, no one has trouble stopping to check out the turtles!
Very much enjoyed this place to pause and take in the architecture and art. However, after all the reviews, I was anticipating there would be 'more' here. Still a great stop but not what I'd recommend as the only stop in this great area. (Smaller kids might really like the interactive sculpture.)
This is a very small courtyard that has two of my favorite places in Santa Barbara. Well, maybe three or four. First there is the fountain with turtles. Very timeless. Then there are the sculptures where people interact and take pictures. But, don't worry this is not a tourist spot. Lots of times when I am here I am the... 更多
I love La Arcada. It has so many different and unique stores. If you're looking for a gift, this is the place to go. Strolling through, you hear the sound of the fountain while window shopping and deciding which treasures deserve a closer look. My favorite place to have a delicious, relaxing lunch is the restaurant "La Arcada". You can... 更多
Located on State Street next to the Art Museum and the Santa Barbara Library. Easy parking. Gallery 113 rotates art very month with all work from local Artist. Everything from sculpture, oils, photography to jewelry. Great restaurants and the finest French Chocolate. Ask about the hidden historic artifacts and take notice off all the doors, each has a history. Bring... 更多
I love La Arcada! I live in SB and Its still my Favorte place to wander around it...So Beautiful and meticulously maintained! Take a stroll thru La Arcada and its like Im wondering thru an Italian Village...(a gorgeous Italian Village)....You'll see some of SB's favorite Artist's craftmanship: From the bronze "whales tail" park benches, to the lifelike bronze statues of... 更多
No disrespect to the mainstream stores further down State Street; they're fine if that's what you like. I tend to prefer small boutiques filled with the quirky, artistic or one-of-kind so I stopped at La Arcada on this visit. It's a small collection of shops, galleries and eateries in a sun dappled Spanish-style courtyard. Whimsical bronze statues provide fun photo... 更多
This is a special small walkway with shops and eateries lining both sides. Incredible sculptures that are so life like are quite the attraction for children and those who appreciate the art of creation. It`s another one of Santa Barbara`s just off Main Street secret spots.
Make La Arcada a part of the downtown Santa Barbara experience; it's located near the library and courthouse. Great place for lunch and dinner with good choices of restaurants.
