This zoo is on the smaller side, and needs some updating, but it definitely worth visiting. Everything can be seen in just a couple hours, so it is perfect for little ones. The giraffes and gorillas were the highlight for us.
The zoo was ok yet I was not really impressed. I think it needs much improvement. The animals were not so available for viewing. There was limited signage in the zoo. We attended a fund raiser, Roar and Pour. it was a great idea yet not well executed. I think there are many other better sights to put on your... 更多
Easy to get around. Happy staff. Peaceful Day. This zoo is so nice to visit, just for a short trip. It is my favorite zoo in all of Southern California. Wish the food options were better since I always forget to get a lunch before I go visit.
Wonderful zoo. Not very large so it didn't take too long to get through it. They had some interesting animals and the staff was well informed about the animals, the zoo, and environmental issues in the world.
We've been to this zoo a couple of times and enjoy it. If you cover every exhibit then it's a good 4 hour spent. The animals are out for viewing and do not smell even the Flamingos. My only complaint was I ordered an Vienna Hot Dog and I got an what looks likes a kids hot dog. I asked... 更多
The perfect zoo to take the kids on a day out! Not too big, not too small. Animals seem loved and well cared for, and it's in such an amazing setting by the beach. Fun time for adults as well due to the surrounding beauty
Visited here a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it. Came back with friends and enjoyed it even more this time since the construction that was in progress is complete now. Enjoyed a talk by one of the elephant trainers and found the giraffes and silverback guerillas were still my favorites. There are two new young giraffes that make... 更多
This zoo was small but the animals looked well cared for and there was a nice variety. A definite must see if your are in the area. You can visit the whole zoo in an hour and a half
Everything about this clean and scenic zoo is fabulous but the highlight is feeding the giraffes. They offer plenty of seats and picnic tables overlooking the ocean.
What this zoo lacks in size, it makes up for in quality and design. It's a GREAT place to take the kids for a short afternoon. The grounds are meticulously maintained and the food and atmosphere are amazing. I highly recommend.
I love zoos. It always has such nice atmosphere. Thinking that this was a small city We thought it would be a small zoo and we would be there in and out in no time. Wrong!!! We spent several ours there. It is a small zoo, but it is so cute and unique; especially for kids. And the lion cage... 更多
Spent the better part of a day here. Kids loved it, good variety of creatures, well laid out and easily walkable for most. Silverback gorilla charged the glass viewing area and scared the chocolate nuggets out of the kids, so he won favorite exhibit.
After u leave Vegas take the route to one of Americans famous highways (not the expressway=autobahn) highway 101 this will take u on a scenic route to Santa Barbara. Great vacation it takes time but it's worth it . On the way u might see some otter's n the seaweed (we did)once u get to Santa Barbara take a break... 更多
The Santa Barbara Zoo is a small zoo easily done in two hours. However, it is well designed and has nice exhibits. There are some walk-in aviaries, a reptile house, lots of macaws, a playground, and some larger animals and exhibits. A nice train ride circles the zoo. It is about a 30 minute walk from Stearn's Wharf if you... 更多
