Have spent hours walking the campus recently. It is a terrific location for looking at architecture and people watching. The weather is generally nice and comfortable. Lots of hills and shortcuts to explore. Definitely a good workout depending how far you want to go.
We visited SLO on a rainy day and made the Cal Poly campus one of our stops. Finding visitor parking was a challenge and required driving and hunting. When we finally found a designated visitor parking, we could pay for 45 minutes or 90 minutes at the parking meters. Parking here, allowed us to walk through the interior of the... 更多
I am so impressed with this university. They really want their students, not only to graduate, but to come out of school prepared for the real world. They offer students jobs, internships, and hands-on learning and are always striving to improve programs and services.

Went to Chumash Hall, many department buildings, the Campus Store. Bought some jams and honey that were produced by students on campus. Thinking of ordering some cheese as Christmas gifts. Many changes, but the heart of the faculty and students remain the same.
My wife and I went to school here. If you are in to horticulture, you need to go up the hill and visit the OH Unit. From there go to Leaning Pine Arboretum and take in the sites and vistas! Nice tree arboretum!
Enjoyed our college tour of this wonderful university. It's a beautiful campus where the kids seem to be challenged yet very happy. I like their motto of learning by doing. Like the UC's, the tour doesn't take you inside buildings since there is so much to cover in almost 2 hours. We drove from Goleta and it was a really... 更多
Took my Godchild to see campus and went on a tour. Tour was disappointing as it was packed with people and given by students who are in the program you are touring. If your son or daughter likes a smaller university in a nice hiking area, then this is it. Bring plenty of money (coins) as the parking is expensive,... 更多
