We stopped here by accident and were overwhelmed with the Mission and Plaza Hotel. The museum is inexpensive($3) and the exhibits are good. Saw the surrey that Kim Novak sat in at the stable there, along with many others.....incredible house. Was informed by viewing "wash house" outside main house, Several buildings, all well presented and easy to access......most enjoyable....did not realize the Historic Park and Mission are two separate entities, so that surprised me.
Lovely place, really pretty little mission church (now functioning as the parish church) in small but well presented grounds. Only downside for me was that traffic is allowed to park all around the park square which rather spoils the views across each side as the buildings their are quaint.
