The walking paths on the top of San Bruno Mountain are great. Though this location is geographically in the middle of a heavily populated area, it remains an oasis of calm open spaces with awesome views all the way to San Francisco and beyond. There are paths through the fields and others through the forests, so you can choose just... 更多
We did the Summit Trail Loop which was 3.1 miles along with the Bog Trail which was .8 miles. It's $6 to get into the parking lot. Wild blackberries throughout which the kids enjoyed. The Summit Loop gave views of the bay, Brisbane, SF, Colma, and the ocean. Amazing local hike that I highly recommend. I was surprised the trail... 更多
Easy to access, San Bruno Mountain hiking trails offer beautiful views of the Bay Area from secluded spots of open fields with spring flowers, meadows and grasses, and on clear days you can see the Farallon Islands.
A good hike if your a hiker. When you get to the top by the antennas a beautiful view of the other side. Allow yourself at least two hours if your going to do the whole trail. Remember you can always take off clothes but you can't put on clothes once you start.
We see SB Mountain from our kitchen window. Only by accident (looking at a bike map) did I realize it's a parti with hiking trails, etc. The park abuts the city line, easy access and parking, trails long and short, challenging and easy. Great views of the city AND we saw a golden eagle!
either you hike or ride you bike.. get to the top and enjoy the view.. I have done both from my house near by.. take a afternoon off and take your love ones or friends and enjoy the afternoon.
for the physically fit, hike up this giant from any side, for the rest of us pay the six dollars to get into the park and drive up Radio road to the parking lot at the top, get out of your car and hike the ridge. dogs NOT ALLOWED, nor smoking nor alcohol.
This park is the best discover in San Bruno! Without too much driving nor too much effort on hiking, I am already on the top of the San Bruno Mountain. When the first time I hiked this park, I was shock by the beauty of the view. Stunning view of SF, downtown and the Oakland Bridge. When I miss these... 更多
Always available parking, honor system contribution to park system, bathrooms available, paved walkways, no dogs allowed, nice picnic areas for kids with picnic tables. Views of downtown San Francisco are really nice on a clear day.
