So I am in my twenties and therefore can't say it was a trip down memory lane as I wasn't alive when some of these products were around. However I found it fascinating and definitely worth a visit. It is just one room but so filled with things you could spend hours looking at every little thing. I did see... 更多
This museum is open Thursday thru Sunday - 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., we popped in just for fun. Thousands of unused products from the 30s and 40s that the caretaker lovingly put together under one roof. Admission is .99 and we donated more than that, you are transported back in time. The lovely lady that told us about the... 更多
Paper on door says closed for the Summer - lots of information but NO followup. Downtown location makes it hard to park. Is this Typical of Palm Springs seems to only venue open in the park is run the the Indian Reservation. I spent about 90 minutes here just in awe of all the things to look at..I realize it is a Museum, but there were many things I wish I could have seen much closer. Maybe they could provide Binoculars to use while there?... We just happened upon this while walking around Palm Springs. I am a Nurse, so really enjoyed... 更多
My husband discovered this nugget of history tucked away in Palm Springs. It was like stepping into a time capsule. We spent forever browsing from cabinet to cabinet and recalling childhood memories and reveling in 'the olden days' and chatting with the friendly people there. The displays are correct down to the tiniest detail and you can find everything from... 更多
It's like visiting a general store at the turn of the century with a cracker barrel and lots of old fashioned items on display. Definitely worth the 95 cent admission.
This is a very small museum but in its little nugget of a shell it contains so much authentic feel it is totally worth going. It's actually a collector's full collection of goods over the years that make up this replica of a general store. The women who run it are very informative and friendly.
Loved loved loved this place! wow, what a collection! I thought the 95 cent admission fee was very reasonable... and they could charge much more! very nice lady and her dog working the store! it was a great thing to see!
