We took all of our guests to the Agua Caliente Indian Canyons. They have a great circuit hike around the palm tree oasis that is fun for all levels of hiker. Even if you aren't a hiker, the oasis is a must-do stop in Palm Springs.
We walked through 1 canyon, it was fantastic! I did not know much about oases or types of palm trees...what a great experience, I definitely want to explore the other canyons next time to Palm Springs area.

Do yourself a favor, take the guided tour with the Park Ranger. It's so informative! Stories and information that you won't get if you go on your own. Go early on the morning. Dress in layers. Wear a cap or hat, the sun gets really bold while you are there.
