Lovers Point Park is a nice little park located above the rocks and beach. It has a nice area to picnic and views stretching across Monterey Bay. If the time is right you might even see a whale passing by - along with seals and the various sea otter basking in the surf. A great place for families and people... 更多
Every year we go back to Lovers Point Park to privately renew our wedding vows (we were married in the park in 2005.) The landscape is ever changing as the waves crash onto the rocks, the sea birds never fail to swoop and call.
Nice, rocky point in Pacific Grove. Good for whale spotting and just watching the surf. Parking can be a challenge as the lot is small.
Very quaint park with the Beach House restaurant located at the edge of the park. The early entry specials are excellent and good value. Restaurant was clean with great ocean views, great service with knowledgeable staff.
Wonderful place to watch the sunrise. Can see whale spouts in distance in the bay. May also catch a glimpse of an otter!
Stayed in Pacific Grove for my birthday. This location Is easy to walk to and part of the 17 mile drive. It is beautiful in the early evening when the light changes. The small park is a good picnic spot. If you are visiting Pacific Grove on a Monday, try to go to the farmer's market ( really good food)... 更多
If you are in the Monterey, Cannery Row area, drive the extra minute to see this beautiful view. The rocks are amazing and you can climb out a bit on them. There is a park area with a few benches. And then stairs to go down to a small beach/sand area to see the water and some rocks with small... 更多
It was pretty awesome to just walk out to the shore and get a close up of hermit crabs, sea slugs, and other sea life. Very beautiful, and the sand is just gorgeous, even if it was chili weather.
One of our favorite places to visit when we come to Monterey. There are lots of benches to sit on and watch the waves and sea life. We have seen ground squirrels burrowing in the rock area and starring at us to give them food.
From the squirrels running around the iceplant in the park, to the sheltered cove-like feel of the beach, this spot in Pacific Grove is wonderful. It doesn't offer much for "attractions", but it is in walking distance from restaurants and shops and offers a peaceful place to take in the gorgeous scenery that is the Monterey Bay.
