Really a neat way to see the coast of SoCal! Fast and efficient way to get from Orange County and San Diego County. Only problem is that it is a bit on the high cost side to take for anything but a special occasion trip.
The Coaster will take you to the best tourist sites in San Diego. The purchase of a one day pass will only cost $12 and allows you to take the Coaster from Oceanside to any stop along the route that day, as well as use of the trolley and bus at any of the stops.
This is an inexpensive way to get to San Diego from Oceanside . You can get an all day pass for 12.00. The pass will get you on tbe red trolleys, buses and the coaster. Great value!
We rode the Coaster down to the baseball game from Oceanside. It was a very smooth and easy ride. It is a great alternative to fighting Friday rush hour traffic! My wife and I rode the Coaster from Oceanside to San Diego and back for entertainment. Very nice ride. Between Oceanside and Solana Valley quite a bit of interesting scenery. From Solana Valley on to San Diego the scenery was not as good. But it was a fun trip
