My husband and I stopped by this winery near the end of a day of tastings at the recommendation of our driver. The winery was a very pleasant surprise. The winery offers a good variety, including multiple blends. The wine itself was very good overall, with some great and some average. The best part of the winery was the personal... 更多
OUTSTANDING value for time and money – I highly recommend this small, intimate winery. I went with a 10-person family group that included 2 minors. The entire format was ideal for us – a 5-tastes for-$20 menu with 14 diverse wine choices; a serving staff of 3 friendly, energetic, and knowledgeable people; and an intimate grounds that included outdoor game... 更多
This is a great change of pace from the big tasting rooms. This is small and personal, not an assembly line, and the wine is good too! The servers are very personable, especially Cindy. Definitely a different experience from most of the wineries on Silverado Trail.
Loved the staff. They were so knowledgable and welcoming. As a sweet wine drinker, I was worried I wouldn't find anything I liked out in CA but I really enjoyed the wines here. I even liked a Pinot noir. The atmosphere with pergolas and tables was great. And they refund your tasting fee if you buy a bottle. Definitely an... 更多
We came here for our first wine tasting. Its 5 tastes for 25$ and you get to pick from a great variety! it's a cute little winery and they let you explore the back where all the barrels are. They have a cute little cat too! The cool part was seeing all the awards and also a letter from Hillary... 更多
We had a wine tasting at Hagafen. They have a very different set up, with two tastings available (one more expensive) and each menu has multiple offerings you can choose from. The location is wonderful and offers you the opportunity to wander as you sample. The wines were not my favorite, but I think I am in the minority according... 更多
Hagafen is a small operation with a delightful atmosphere. It was open on Christmas Day and the wine tasting was more like a very pleasant party. We could sit outside, stroll around to see the chickens, or hang out in the barrel room. It was a pleasant surprise and we will return.
I highly recommend calling in advance and taking the tour, you get to meet the chickens! It is a nice way to start a later day or the second stop (to catch the tour at 11) on a busy schedule. Take a minute to slow down, enjoy the art, the wine, and the wonderful hospitality.
