We worked with the concierge at our hotel to book a reservation at Elyse; we booked the day before our Tuesday visit. Reservations are required here. This is a small winery that's off the beaten path; we picked it based on having their Rhone varietal at a restaurant in Washington, DC a few years ago and loving it so much... 更多
if you are tired of all the Cabs that encompass Napa, then come here. The Zins and petite syrahs are amazing. You do have the make an appt, but they are very accommodating. The reason for the appt is limited space. It is small, but very good wines. Also, this is a place that will comp your tasting if you... 更多
This small winery off the busy Napa Valley Highway is a nice relaxing stop to taste some very special wines. I am a red wine drinker and thought their cabernet's were delicious! Our group of 6 bought a case to be sent home. Got to meet the owner/wine maker Ray and wine make Mike. Very customer friendly people. Worth the... 更多
We found this winery while doing some research online, and we are incredibly happy we were able to stumble upon it. It does not appear to be well known, even in the area, but the small size, personal nature of the tasting, and different varietals they offer made this more than worth the time. Kim provided a very personal and... 更多
We tasted 6 wines here last Sunday and they were all delicious! Not just good, but delicious. The tasting room is small but the service was delightful. The tasting fee is $25 but they waive it if you buy 3 bottles, which was easy to do. We liked it so much we became wine club members. Call ahead for reservations.
I did fall in love with some of the Elyse wines. The more I visit Napa the more I look for the "experience". That is the only thing lacking at Elyse. They do have some nice wines and I wound up joining their club but I doubt I would visit again. Typically when I visit, I buy. If you have... 更多
The tasting room is small and intimate, but gives you a great opportunity to be one on one with your host. We spent a good hour with Kim, tasting through 6 wines, 2 Zin's, 2 Cab's, a Petit Sirah and a wonderful white Rhone varietal (L'Ingenue). The staff is very friendly and knowledgable, and they are dog friendly. There is a... 更多
I visited Elyse with 3 others the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Kim Collins was a gracious and informative hostess leading us along teaching us about Elyse wines. We sat out in the gardens while we enjoyed. Such a beautiful day while tasting amazing Elyse wines. I highly recommend a visit to the wonderful boutique winery.
We visited this winery based on recommendations on TA. Silly me, didnt check this review. Yes, the tasting is overpriced, $25 for five different wines. I agree with the previous reviewer syrah was there best. Not worth the visit and yes you have to book.
