Cute otters, on their backs doing what otters do (mostly eating). Kayakers keep their distance and the environment is big enough for all to respectfully share. Any trip to Monterey is not complete without stopping by to enjoy this piece of nature.
This was a definite must-see on our 3-day trip to Carmel and Monterrey, but we could NEVER find it! None of the addresses we had worked, and when we Googled it, the area we were sent to was closed. Low review just because we could not find 1) a good address or 2) anyone in the community who knew where... 更多
We got good views of seals, sea otters and even a pod of dolphins during the 2 hours we were here. I do recommend bringing binoculars as the viewing experience is much better that way. When we left around noon there was no room to park except for out on the highway so I recommend getting there early if possible.... 更多
This was a last minute decision to check this out and was totally worth it. They are fun to watch and something you really get an opportunity to see. There were people of all ages enjoying watching them play.
This is a great place to take the family and get back to nature. These sea otters are so cute and you don't find them many places,so worth going and helping by your purchase to see them to preserve other otters that need help.
Any of the preserves ( Point Lobos ... ) are worth visiting here on the Pennisula, and this one does not disappoint. Otters are one of my favorite creatures ( I love all animals, so this saying much ), and this is a great place to see them. Not to be missed.
Get close to the famous Monterey sea otters by renting a kayak and frolicking with them in the Bay. Lots of sea lions and seals to admire as well!
