It is a very nice pier to walk and look and the sealions and boats. There is a marina with tons of restaurants and gift shops. Prepare yourself the restaurants are very pricey, i went to two one of wich was delicious and the other was very mediocre for the money paid.
Had to pay to park and eat at an overpriced restaurant. Will not ever go again. I think it is ridiculous to pay to eat at a restaurant. I have had for superior food elsewhere and did not have to pay to park.
There are a few very touristy stores on the wharf, but maybe that's what you're looking for. At the end of the pier, there's a restaurant with a public viewing area, so you can stand and overlook the water. There are also several restaurants that looked good and many were offering a sample of their soup du jour or some... 更多
This is a mainstay .in Monterey. It's a long standing attraction that families have enjoyed for decades. There are shops and restaurants to experience. The Monterey Aquarium is located at the end of the roadway. For a perfect Family outing. Fisherman's Wharf is the choice
Lots of small shops and a few good restaurants. Typical tourist hangout, shopping, and dining area. Dining prices are reasonable probably because of the large number of restaurants providing competition. Shops have the usual t-shirts, coffee mugs, etc. found in tourist areas. You can find fishing and tour boats here.
I would still recommend going here. But it is not the vibrant wharf of my youth (50-60's) There still is a saltwater taffy shop. And you can still get a good cup of clam chowder and hear the seals. But there are a lot of uninspired souvenir shops. It feels like it could use a rejuvenation.
many great restaurants to choose from as well as a lot of cool shops. The shops have a lot of typical tourist items but many also have a good amount of unique items.
Advise people to go to Rappa's for great drinks, food, and service. Stay away from Grotto as service, food and drinks were terrible. Do take the Whale Watching Tour, but make reservations in advance with Heather, as we did two weeks in advance. Carmel and the Mission is a great day trip and definitely eat at Hog'sBreath.
Sure, Fisherman's Wharf is touristy and a bit pricey but with the eye popping views, seals floating around everywhere and cool fishing vessels made up for it. Every restaurant hawking their chowder samples, you can literally have lunch by trying all the samples. Being a tourist destination it was surprising to see the clothing gift shops were competitively priced for... 更多
great place to stroll around look in shops, lots of restaurants to chose from, worth a visit to, plenty of choice of whale watching trips, bustling place
Full of atmosphere and charm. Pretty scenery , great for harbour photography and it's wonderful watching seals and otters swim by. Absolutely loved spending time here .
