my partner and I visited for information about lee vining. the gateway to Yosemite national park. found info leading us to restaurants, markets and lodging options .staff really helpful. loads of information on choices of everything you would need to know.
This is hidden off the road and if you didn't know it was there you could miss it. That would be a huge disappointment. Beautifully conceived and presented facility with so much information about the place, the area, its history, geology, etc. A fantastic bookshop. And it's so bright and clean. It was a real pleasure to visit. Excellent walk-round... 更多
Good visitor centre overlooking the Mono Lake. Interesting background to area and history which were well explained. Also helpful staff to assist in your enjoyment of the local area.
Large visitor center with information, historical/educational opportunities. There are great views of Mono Lake and a few trails that go down to the lake.
We were visiting Mono Lake and stopped into the visitor center. The views from the center are excellent. The visitor center also has a short film in their theater about about the lake, which is a must watch.

This visitor center does a great job providing information and displays about both Mono Lake and Yosemite National Park. A short film explains the area well, the views of the lake are outstanding, and the walk through the area near the shore is nice. It's a small building with a large gift shop and friendly staff.

A rim of mountains in the distance and then the lake. The tufa are fascinating, the blanket... 更多
Very interesting displays explaining the geology, ecology, and history of the area. I'm sure kids would find this a fun visit, and it does provide a greater understanding before venturing out to see the Mono Lake up close. I'd highly recommend a stop. I was there for just over 30 minutes to get a feel for the area, but I... 更多
