I got an actual ten dollar haircut here! nice surprise. Lots of shops, a few antiques and specialty stores worth a peek. Not too many restaurants. Everything is close, within a few blocks. Park anywhere and walk.
Love our little Historic Downtown Lake Elsinore. As a local, it is nice to see the work that has been put into this lovely little strip. I usually go downtown for two of the best Mexican restaurants in the area. When my friends come the wives love to do some antique browsing in the several shops in the area.

I agree with many others... many stores are closed. When I went there, I didn't have any problems with transients. There were a few antique stores that were sort of cool.
