Mount Soledad gives you a 360 degree view of the San Diego area as well as a peaceful place to reflect and appreciate the beauty that surrounds us. Definitely must visit if you're in the area!
This is the highest point in San Diego and offers a splendid view of the entire area, from Torrey Pines Reserve in the north, all the way to Mexico. Can't be beat on a clear day.
Gorgeous view in a nice , affluent neighborhood.Nice urban setting with mountain and seas , a very beautiful combination. Highly recommended .
My 97 year old grandfather is a WWII vet and upon visiting San Diego I felt compelled to take a trip to Mount Soledad. I'm very glad I did as it provides amazing views and represents an excellent tribute to our military. What I didn't realize is that you can purchase a plaque to commemorate any honorably-discharged military member, whether... 更多
Easy to find and not far from the major roadways, Mt Soledad is worth the stop! Take 10mins to enjoy 360-degree view of San Diego, La Jolla, and the Pacific ocean.
Beautiful views of all San Diego. Easy to drive to and easy to view personalized memorials of veterans. Very humbling. Great photo opportunities of the beauty of the area.
This was a quick stop on our Old Town Trolley Beach Tour as we headed to La Jolla. The view was breathtaking! The WWII memorial is tasteful and a wonderful tribute to our veterans.
This is well worth a stop on a clear day or night and only a short drive from La Jolla. I imagine it would be a great place to watch the sun set and later view the city lights. The memorial is a moving tribute to our veterans. I love the way they included the photos and snippets on the... 更多
At the top of the mountain you will see gorgeous 360 degree views of La Jolla and surrounding area. There is a war memorial at the top that was interesting. When I researched the site it seems there is a long standing law suit to take down a giant cross at the top. It seems the only reason there is... 更多
The sky's weren't clear so the view which would have been outstanding wasn't really even worth a photo. The memorial atop the mount is wonderful. Names, photos, commendation & battle information are all included. I loved that the cross is there too.
If you want to see something truly beautiful, that offers a pure American experience, come here and renew your sense of pride and faith. A must see, especially if you're a veteran. I could've spent hours upon there, so beautiful.
My buddy and I decided to make that trip up there last month. It was getting close to dusk but we trekked on. It's a bit trick to get up there and coming back down without getting lost. Our GPS wasn't helping much either. Once at the top, the sweeping view of the San Diego County was amazing, going from... 更多
#1 Spot for Native San Diego Bragging Rights. I'm a rare San Diego Native and self-proclaimed master tour guide to my family and friends who visit me. It's called "Mount" bit it's really just a hill. It is surprisingly one of the tallest points in San Diego. Make sure it is a clear day when you go up. It's a... 更多
