You can easily put the Indian Wells Tennis Gardens in the same category as Wimbledon, Roland Garros, US OPEN and Australian Open. Personally, I like it better than US OPEN. I have been to all of them. And it's only getting better every year!
I almost decided not to go and that would have been a big mistake. Great fun, great seats, good food, relaxing. We had trouble finding buying good gifts but the tennis was great. We always go to Paris used to go to London but will now add Indian Wells to our annual trips.
As a life long tennis player and former coach, this has to be one of the best places in the world to watch world class tennis. We have been coming to this tournament every year since the mid 1980s and it continues to get better every year.

The venue draws the top 50 male and female players in the world. Great weather is a plus also. Tickets getting a bit pricy but still worth it.
From a fan's point of view, this is the best tennis tournament in the world. A beautiful venue, great amenities, and a must. Go for at least 3 days to see world class tennis in a perfect setting.
