We went for a group tour which was really informative. Started looking at the small huts, moved up to multi room huts and finished with actual homes. Our guides let us wander in the homes and explained the building processes.
This was a free walk through of what this group has created out of sustainable items. The people where so informative and very friendly. Its outdoors so sunscreen is helpful. The atmosphere was relaxed , peaceful. The kids could climb on some of the structures.
Amazing place to visit. What a concept! Using sand bags to build a home.
The place is a real eye opener as to what is possible with the most simple of building materials.
Entry is free, but after you experience it, you will make a donation.
Check their web site about the communal lunch.
