We had a great time chatting with the hosts in the tasting room (no reservation) and tasting the wines. Great value all around, and we liked several of the wines. Property is winery and farm. Definitely worth visiting this more homespun feeling destination.
Attending a conference in Oakland, the resident Sommelier recommended this winery in the Sonoma valley. It was a little hard to find but well worth the effort. There were a lot of things going on at this place. A pumpkin patch, a bakery, and a country store. The best part is the winery with a good selection of reds and... 更多
Wonderful weather made this a lovely road-trip from San Francisco Very helpful and friendly staff - biggest problem was that it wasnt possible to arrange a case to be shipped back to UK as the wine was delightful, was sad not to get to 'pick your own pumpkins'

At Preston, the property really makes the trip. The wines were just ok but we loved the market, lambs, cats, picnic area, cats and the sourdough bread!
The wines we tasted were all delicious and the people were all very friendly and knowledgeable. We bought some tomatoes, bread and strawberries at the shop and had a picnic in the beautiful garden. Highly recommend their Zinfandel- amazing!
Based on a recommendation from a tasting host, we made the drive to Preston. The tasting was very laid back and nice but the grounds are what really make the place. They also grow olives and other fruits and vegetables and have chickens and many, many sweet cats on the property. A really peaceful, nice place to visit.
