Parking was at a premium and most people had to park along the road which wasn't ideal. There were three tasting tiers: $10, $15, and $25. They were only complimentary if a person was a wine club member. My husband purchased the 2013 Estate Zinfandel which he thought was an intense red. The tasting server was attentive even though it... 更多
We stopped in based upon the fact that we love their Zinfandel and have been to their Santa Cruz location. It was quite busy but they can host probably 30+ tasters at once. The tastings were good and FREE even though the website says they are $5. They even opened up a small batch $185 bottle of special Monte Bello.... 更多
I visited Ridge during the Wine and Food Affair weekend. I was very impressed with my whole experience. Wines were excellent ... staff was friendly and knowledgeable ... grounds were picturesque. If you are a fan of quality red wines and are willing to spend a little more money to enjoy the experience ... then Ridge is definitely worth a... 更多
Ridge has a reputation for great wines from their success at the "Judgement of Paris" in 1976. First, don't expect to be tasting anything at that quality level. You'll get some standard wine at standard tasting rates. So, that part of the experience is OK. The issue we had was with a couple of staff members. Generally we find wine... 更多
Ridge winery has a very nice tasting room with many good wines. The staff was really friendly and did a great job of describing the history of the winery and vineyards. Excellent Zinfandels!
This has been my go-to vineyard for years. When family/friends come to visit us, this is the first place we go. Everyone loves their wine; the wine snobs in our family and the rookie wine tasters all find the wine delicious, fun, and complex. The vineyard is beautiful (I recommend the estate tour on your first visit). Everyone is nice... 更多
Ridge winery was an unexpected delight. We stopped by while in the Healdsburg area as we had a few minutes between tastings. We ended up with some Montebello to take home and once our hostess warmed up, we had a very informative tasting experience. Would highly recommend this Vineyard.
We stopped in for a basic bar tasting, plus the Monte Bello. We enjoyed all the zins, left with a bottle of Mill. Our server (from France) was knowledgeable and attentive. Definitely worth a stop!
David took us on a tour of the vineyards in a golf cart and told an entertaining saga of his personal wine biography and the story of the winery with an emphasis on the Zinfandel variety. Then a tour of the wine making process with barrels piled higher than I had ever thought possible (see photo). The tasting room was... 更多
