Wines were not very complex and tasted young. The facility was pound even though it was not crowded. The grounds are beautiful. It's a good place to stop and take a break by the creek.
We visited after a friend recommended we stop...and we fell in love! The tasting room is small, but it's all that is needed, as you want to grab a glass and head outside! We wandered down by the creek and just enjoyed! I suggest visiting towards the end of the day, as we didn't feel like it was too busy... 更多
We started our time in Dry Creek Valley here since they're one of the earlier opening tasting rooms, 10 am on a Friday. We've been in the region a few times as we really enjoy this area since it's lower key compared to nearby wine regions. Since we were early we had a personalized wine tasting experience with a friendly... 更多
This winery is unfortunately their own worst enemy. They have developed a reputation as a must-stop for their gardens and creekside picnicking – but this popularity comes at a price. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere, without any pretentious attitude that can be found at others nearby. The tasting was relaxed and enjoyable. And now we are back in the UK we have cracked open the Black Sheep red, and it is STUNNING! We are now working out how we can get some of this back to the UK as it goes... 更多
If you're looking for a getaway from city life this is the place to go! Enjoy a bottle of wine and sit near the creek as you listen to the water slowly flowing by. It's so relaxing and the staff is wonderful!
Loved the wine tasting. A great organic vineyard with killer wine and great views of the river. So relaxing. The wine is a bit spendy, but darn it was delicious. Staff was friendly and quite knowledgeable about the wine. Great way to spend a couple of hours relaxing
After a late morning wine tasting, I picked up lunch at Dry Creek General Store and took my wife back to this winery for lunch. We bought a bottle of their Red Rooster Zin and sat outside in the tree-shaded patio. My wife loved the plants and flowers, and we enjoyed the short walk down to Dry Creek, which reminded... 更多
Not your average wine tasting. They had music and the atmosphere was very festive. With many wineries to choose from, I recommend this one
