The river is beautiful and relaxing. It's the perfect spot to spend a day or weekend in nature. Trees, sunshine and the river in a serene setting
My Mom use to live in Gualala and we would go here to the River to picnic and just hang out for the day. Very clean place off the beaten path.
Water levels were rather low at the access point of Gualala River Redwood Campground, but the temperature was perfect for wading and stream health seemed well, indicated by an abundance of amphibious life such as the numerous salamanders spotted, down woody debris and significant structure variation observed in the sinuous section we were. Gorgeous place! Best, ~S

This River is a good one to Kayak. I wanted to go with my California friend but we did not have enough time. Hopefully next time I... 更多
