Old Town's Main Street is called Sutter Street! Completely renovated and brought up to ADA Code about 4 years ago, this quaint 3 Block Long still retains it 1849 California Gold Rush demeanor and charm. With multiple bars and restaurants, you can easily spend all day shopping, eating, drinking and sightseeing in Old Town Folsom's Sutter Street.
We enjoy walking up and down Sutter Street with lots of stores, restaurants, bars, souvenir shops, museums, and many other stuff to see. Nicely decorated for Christmas. Well worth a visit and must see attraction when in Folsom.
We have visited Sutter Street numerous times. There are stores, cafes, a museum, and more. During the Christmas holidays, the area is decorated. There is a Christmas tree in the area. There is also ice skating.
Sutter street offers the visit and resident shopping and dinning for everyone. From Rainbow Bridge Jewelers to Sutter Street Steakhouse to Sutter Street Grill. Did I mention the sweets and the ice skating rink.
I love Old Towns full of interesting, pretty, quirky little shops and restaurants, and the one in Folsom, off Hwy. 50 in California’s Gold Country, is one of the nicest I’ve seen.
