Winterhawk Winery was a great place to go on a Saturday afternoon to listen to bands and enjoy some wine. Unfortunately the wines were not the best and that is the main reason a winery is in business. Gallo ended up owning this winery and closed the winery to the public. We lost a great music venue.
we used to enjoy going to this very casual, friendly winery that had great live music - people would have birthday parties with friends and enjoy the food and the music. And the food truck nights were fun as well. Too bad the winery was bought out by a huge central valley winery and the tasting room was closed.
