I discovered Sherman Gardens 12 years ago on our first vacation to Newport Beach and have been back every year since. You would never believe this gorgeous garden area is just a few acres as the layout, well appointed greenery and flowers are magnificent! Every year is a little bit different and I enjoy the additions. Also a very nice... 更多
The Sherman Gardens & Library, at Dahlia & 2nd, are a treasure in the middle of a now busy community. In 1955, Mr. Arnold Haskell, bless him, purchased Norman's Nursery which included an adobe building. His concept for the property was for a beautiful garden, open to the public, a serene oasis, 'a respite from the stress and pressures of... 更多
We went to this library & Gardens while we were in Corona Del Mar, even we have been there before, but Garden is spectacular and Library is very worthy to visit, enjoyed the lunch in their restaurant

Nor were we (it was not our first visit, but the last had been a while back and much had changed). We spent almost 5 hours, including lunch). The "history" of the Sherman is worth reading about... 更多
A stroll through these cramped, but beautiful, gardens is a hidden gem. The orchids were a highlight when we visited. Lunch area was inviting... maybe next visit. Its history is unique, so make sure you pick up the brochure. Nice gift shop for gardeners, too.

Sherman gardens is well known to locals. Not so much for visitors but it's an amazing small urban garden, with shade houses and a great meditate tandem plant collection. Their bookstore is very good, and the cafe is relaxing next to the garden and serves a nice lunch . A quiet hidden gem in plain view
This lovely little garden pleases at every turn and every time of year. For the succulent and cactus lover, however, it absolutely can't be beat. Designed and maintained by Matt Maggio, it is an eye-popping jewel.
