From their static displays to the restored flying planes, done by volunteers staff, the work done in detail are unsurpassed!! They have and fly the only Northrop Flying Wing and Japannese Mitzubishi Zero.
I've visited this museum several times, but it was 5 years since the last one, so I wanted to see what was new. The museum is always changing with airplanes coming and going and being restored and maintained. If you like to look at rare warbirds this is the place. You never know what you are going to run across.... 更多
If you are interested in airplanes this place is a MUST SEE! Unlike a simple collection of planes sitting on display, many of these planes actually FLY! The museum is well laid out, it's not expensive to visit (Groupon often offers discount coupons) and if you want to you, can spend days there watching people working on and/or restoring planes.... 更多
I'm always looking for places that I can learn something and take great pictures. This was a great place, It is not crowded. You can see the plane graveyard. Planes that are just waiting for someone to come over and make them new again. Along with a lot of old planes. The staff was friendly. Differently a place to take... 更多
A good family place with tanks and planes, helicopters, bombers. Veterans of WW11 volunteer and are more than willing to tell their stories and show their favorite planes.
I love to take my boys since they were young. Its close to my home.Easily we spend 3-4 hrs taking pictures and reading history of planes. Its not expensive nor too busy.Every year they have air-show too
Went to two museums at the Chino airport. This one, Planes of Fame was very small, about 1/3 rd the size of Yanks Air Museum. It had some ok stuff, but staff was rude. I would certainly pass on this one and go to Yanks near Euclid Ave, where they ever let me crawl in a real P-51!!!!
I have been a member of the Planes of Fame Museum for many years, Each year they increase the number of historical planes and they have many actual pilots who flew these planes as invited guests to speak on their experiences as a pilot back in the "fly by the seat of your pants eras." Very, very interesting. They also... 更多
You gotta go here it's rad actually it;s really a great place to go. I only wished there was more room in between planes so you can photograph easier.
The staff is phenomenal: courteous, friendly and helpful. The exhibits were outstanding and presented with the history of the plane. The docents were there to embellish the story. What a fun time! Definitely recommend it for anyone who has an interest in aviation or history. Thank you for a most remarkable day.
