We really enjoyed walking around this quaint little village. There are many interesting shop and vendors. We had an excellent lunch in one of the many restaurants. There is a beautiful beach just steps from the main shopping area, with easy access. Lots of free parking.
I love Carlsbad. There are many great shops and wonderful restaurants. Nearby is the Carlsbad Outlet shops. The beach is the greatest attraction there. I love to walk along their lovely beach.
This is a great area to sample many local cultures. Both in food, and through purchasing handmade items. Also, here is a wonderful farmers market, that has plenty of entertainment!
The Carlsbad Inn Beach resort is right next to the Carlsbad Village and since we stayed for a week, we had the pleasure of enjoying the shops and restaurants in the area. The stores range from clothing to jewelries, especial olive oils, gelatos, and the restaurants from Mexican, Italian, Greek, Japanese.
Amazing neighborhood, great place close to beach and quite, with access to everything around, little far from downtown but everything is perfect
Its just another little 'village' with crowds and not a great deal to do. Far better to drive to Oceanside to the north. Restaurants are OK, but there are some great restaurants in Carlsbad and surrounding areas, just not in the 'village' For great sea food.. try Fish 101 and Pelly's ... but they are not at the 'village'.
Pedestrian Friendly, and has numerous mom and pop shops and family owned and operated restaraunts. Plus many events including a street fair and farmers market
Do you enjoy a small town with lots to see, smell and taste? Well Carlsbad Village has all that will satisfy your senses. Shops, parks, restaurants, Farmers Markets, Antiques, beach, train station everything within walking distance.
