Absolutely amazing. Take your camera and take your time. This is an amazing experience. My husband fished the base of the falls and this is a barbless area. Make sure you read the regulations. But take your rod and reel. Just beautiful.
Thank you to reviewers on Trip Advisor! I never knew this place existed before I saw it here. The falls are beautiful and unique! There is a hike to the base of the falls that is quite steep, but there is a small easy hike to the look out. If you get too warm after your hike, get an ice... 更多
Very nice experience. We drove from Bay area to Burney just for this during July 4th long weekend. It was worth the long drive and kids enjoyed a lot. All necesarry facilities as in any other camping place. Burney falls is just 0.3 miles walk from the entrance.
Burnet falls are situated inside the McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial State Park. Entrance fee is 8 dollars. There are restrooms and a general store selling food and souvenirs. It takes about 15 minutes to walk down the paved trail to the falls. Fishing and boat launching can be done with permits. The water mists are cooling especially on a hot summer... 更多
The falls are so very impressive. The blue of the water is a delight for the eye. I would recommend going to the park early in order to spend some uninterrupted time gazing at the falls. The Falls Loop Trail is worth taking.
Travelled from LA to SF to Burney falls. I would say this is one of the best waterfalls i photographed here in California. The hike isn't bad at all and carried my daughter all the way to the falls.
We've been going to see waterfalls every weekend and this one is the best, Yosemite is nice but this one is easier trip and easy to go and see, we stayed in the cabin with no electricity or water or bathroom. So one night was as much as we as a family can handle but the trip was way worth... 更多
Beautiful falls year round.. Day hikes. All roads and one trail dog friendly. Campgrounds dog friendly. Worth stopping if for even a peek, but better to picnic and walk at least down to the falls. Britton lake very pretty. Overlook to falls is wheelchair accessible. For all ages! Historic area and really beautiful.
Stopped in basically to see the falls and wound up staying for a few hours. It's a short walk from parking to see the falls, and there are benches on which to sit. It's an easy hike to the base of the falls, and you can do a loop around which was also not very strenuous. A gift shop and... 更多
