you have to check out the shops and decorations in the village. they have recently upgraded the village and the lights and firepits all very nice, especially in the winter!
Such a cute, cute, cute restored downtown area in Big Bear Lake. Four or five streets of restaurants, great local clothing shops, coffee shop, Big Beat Brewing Company, candy store, etc... A great place to spend a few hours shopping and eating. I love the streets lined with flowers and hanging baskets.
our entire family went to the village and shopped in the little shops and had an ice cream at the Fudge shop. What a neat little place to experience Big Bear!
It's a pedestrian-friendly tourist village with a variety of local shops. Some featured antique and gold-rush themes. The restaurants are very good but not cheap. Parking was easy even on a crowded Sunday.
We spent a long weekend up in Big Bear at the beginning of August, 2015 and strolled around "the Village" for a bit on both Saturday and Sunday. We stayed in Big Bear (actually at Serrano Family Camping area) for a week, and kept finding ourselves coming back to the Village. Even in the middle of the week, parking was tight, however there are public parking lots only a block away. Shops are plentiful and we found it fun to stroll up and down Pine Knot. Don't miss... 更多
Village had lots of shops. Lots of fun bars and restaurants. Was there during the big car show week-end. They closed the whole village and displayed over 500 cars. Was a lot of fun!
The village has a lot of interesting shops, bars, coffee shops and restaurants. There is something for everyone, casual and fine dining. We tried Indian restaurant, the coffee shops and other restaurants in the village during our stay. It was great. The village is beautiful and very safe. The parking can be tricky sometimes but leave your car somewhere else... 更多
The town of Big Bear is much larger than this small, tourist-oriented collection of gift shops and restaurants. For example, the Von's, Big 5, and most fast food places are outside of the village. This is the place to go for a little stroll of window shopping, snacking, and eating out. There are several good dining spots, lots of shops,... 更多
