This is a longtime family favorite, as it's a local hangout and a fun place to climb around the rocks. If you're not a climber, there are steps for easier access to the scenic views atop the rocks. Teens seem to love this spot.
I live around the corner from the park, so it has been part of our family's life for over 30 years. It is a three story high boulder of Berkely Rhyolite with steps notched into one side so that you can climb up and sit on top. The other faces are shear or overhanging and are excellent rock climbing practice... 更多
To get up to Indian Rock Park is a bit of a steep hike but well worth the exercise to see amazing views of San Francisco and the east bay below you on a clear day.
Climb up the rocks for one of the best views of the sunset at San Francisco Bay. Nice friendly community atmosphere on top of a huge rock formation.
Get here vie the pathway that starts at Solano and Alameda. Be sure to climb to the top of the rock for peak enjoyment of the panoramic view of the bay.
Indian Rock is a little know local gem of a place to climb and view the sun set into San Francisco Bay. You get a 180 degree, unobstructed view of the Bay and can enjoy the serenity of such a perfect setting for watching the Bay and its awe inspiring beauty. It is also a great little work out to... 更多
This was once a spiritual center for Native Americans. Climb steps carved into the rock and you will be rewarded with a 270-degree view of the Bay Area, including Mt. Tamalpais, the Bay Bridge, the Golden Gate, the University of California campanile, the hotels of the Marina, the skyline of San Francisco, the ferries crossing the Bay, etc. etc. (get... 更多
A REALLY big rock, a small hill actually, in the middle of a pretty neighborhood. Walking around, you'll see other big outcroppings in people's yards. Fun to climb up on, if you're spry (though please be careful!) Great views. And the little park across the street has a lovely bench to sit on, from which to look out to San... 更多
This rock formation is gorgeous and the views are incredible! You can see from Berkeley to San Francisco to Oakland, absolutely breath taking. Very glad we decided to check it out.
I love go all the up to the rock and just sit and relax there, you can see pretty far from there also if you catch sunset, it is beautiful.
