Very nicely done education center. There are many displays and quite a few displays encourage you to handle them. There's a collection of plaster cast of tracks and pelts from the local wild life among other things.
Interesting place for basis education on elk and other local wildlife. Unfortunately, when we were there, the female on duty was more interested in flirting with a park ranger than answering our questions. Her comments were curt and tone did not invite further inquiries. This does have plenty of hands on for children to experience.
The center is nice and they have a good variety of things to look at inside including paw prints and stuffed elk. This is a beautiful valley, and we saw elk both in early morning and just before sunset. It's educational, and there are also some pull out areas. However, we most enjoyed just driving through and seeing the elk on our way through the area. We might return to hear them bugle later in the year!
