The lake is a constant 80 degrees F and crystal clear, very pleasant for swimming. There are lots of areas for camping, but the lake itself is big enough that it wasn't too crowded. Lots of scuba training there, and easy diving. Not a whole lot to see, but there is a nice little tunnel and some petrified trees.
This effervescent lake is one of my favorite all time places to visit. The water is warm year round and like swimming in alka seltzer. Bubbly and gorgeous! The surrounding pines are beautiful and peaceful. Take your own blow up raft or rent an inner tube from one of the vendors. Pack a picnic or have a taco from one... 更多
I read a lot of comments of people saying it's just another water park, I found it to be much more. It's true that its not a secluded piece of forest where you can get lost and be alone with nature, there will be people here and it can get really packed in peak season, but at the end of... 更多
I went to the Laguna de la Media Luna at the end of July-early August. It is a natural reserve with its birds, turtles and fish. There are many camping and BBQ spots in proximity to the lagoon. The visibility in there is amazing, especially early in the morning. There are also half a dozen restaurants, public toilets & showers... 更多
This place is magical! I never want to leave this place. Its beautiful. Water is crystal clear. Dont go during Easter. October is the perfect month. Its very quiet and peaceful. You can stay the night in your tent for 70 pesos, which is 5 dollars. Theres barbaque grills, or u can bring your own. There is firewood for sale.... 更多
I have been traveling to Media Luna for over 17 years. Today, on the weekends, there may be thousands of visitors, far too many for the maintenance of a heathy ecosystem. The scuba diving is still nice but much different than previous times. Much of the aquatic vegetation has been destroyed but has a chance to recover if swimming was... 更多
We only spent a few hours here swimming in the clear, warm waters of the lagoon. It is a gorgeous place! There were other activities we didn't have time for (scuba diving, camping, etc.). Lunch at the restaurant there was okay.
Wow! This place was amazing! We visited as a day trip from SL Potosi. Took the bus from the SLP station to Rio Verde, tickets were a bit more expensive than expected (300 pesos/each, each way). From the bus station in Rio Verde we took a taxi to Media Luna (100 pesos/each way). The taxi will take you down this... 更多
