My first visit to Dzibanche was like a dream. INAH does a beautiful job maintaining this archaeological zone. What a wonderful way to spend a day that should include a visit to the sister site of Kinichna.
.I have been many times to this ruin. I live fairly close, and have gone with friends a number of times. The last 4 times I have been there, I have had the fun experience of seeing the families of howler monkeys. It is a large ruin, very spread out and in a fairly isolated area, and I think that... 更多
We had a truly excellent day visitng Dzibanche with Mayadan Adventure. Jonathan was a great tour guide and filled us with loads of knowledge about the ruins. We enjoyed Mayadan so much that we booked a second tour with them. I highly recommend Mayadan Adventures. Best to contact them via WhatsApp. Their number is available on Facebook.
Many of the Mayan temples no longer allow tourists to climb and explore. That's not the case at Kohunlich. I have fond memories from my youth visiting, climbing and exploring the ruins at Tulum, and I wanted to share a similar experience with my children, so we visited Dzibanche and Kohunlich while in port at Costa Maya. It was a... 更多
This place is immense and they are still excavating more ruins. You can still climb the steps (if you are fit), unlike most other ruins. Go with Native Choice Tours for a perfect trip. They take you there, provide a guide, provide food & water, and bring you back. The history is fascinating and well worth the time!
We drove for about 2.5 from Mahahual as we were told this is one of the few ruins that isn't over run with crowds. We were the only group there for much of the time and then there was only one other group. The ruins are spectacular, we were joined by a guide who was able explain all the history.... 更多
This is the best mayan ruins you can see in Costa Maya. Do it with Native Choice and you won't regret it. A lot to discover and a lot of climbing an walking.
We made this tour with Native Choice outside of the cruise terminal at Costa Maya. This is a long trip via a nice van to the ruins. Native Choice offices are outside of the cruise terminal, and two blocks on the left. It is about a 20 minute hike. To their office. 6 to 6 1/2 hours is what you... 更多
First off I would highly recommend a tour guide. The howler monkeys were one of the most interesting things about the ruins to us. The sound straight out of Jurassic park and are loud and very scary sounding. Our guide told us they are protecting territory and they stay very high up in the trees. The ruins were amazing and... 更多
We visited these ruins on a Tuesday morning. No one else but the ruin guards was there. Being able to climb to the top of the pyramids and feel history under your feet was amazing. During our trip a pack of monkey's was climbing through the trees and we were able to watch them for a bit. Would highly recommend... 更多
