Don't let the quantity of the same thing throw you because when you get it home it will be unique and remind you of Morocco. I love nature's art and their stuff falls into the very good category.
We were brought here as part of a packaged tour, and it is definitely worth the visit. They show you the process of cutting the stone and finding the fossils through polishing them and turning them into beautiful objects like table tops and plates and jewelry. They speak great English and the prices seemed reasonable.
We were brought here by our tour guide and it was a very interesting and informative experience. It's hard to believe that these beautiful objects are real and we bought items for ourselves as well as for gifts since they are so unique and wonderful conversations pieces. We enjoyed seeing how the raw slabs are turned into everything from plates... 更多
My wife found this place really fascinating . . . the idea that these are fossils of creatures that lived 300 plus million years ago and now they're made into beautiful objects. The staff gives you information on how the rocks are cut and demonstrates how they are polished. Very low-key in the sales room which is very welcomed.

The slabs were magnificent and you could clearly see the fish, snails, etc. in them. There is a gift shop--isn't there always--where you... 更多
The guide showed us how they extract the fossils from the huge rocks. There are cutting and polishing steps that were very interesting. The different fossils are very interesting. I bought several for my grandsons and they loved them. They tell you that the prices are fixed but when I was interested in several items all of a sudden the... 更多
Amazing fossils of all shapes and sizes. Morocco is certainly a place for these. Made into a whole range of jewellery. I bought 6 of of a child on the street.
We had stopped at another of these workshops/stores on the road between Rissani & Erfound, there must be hundreds of them along the highway, they all looked the same to us. First we were given a brief tour about the different fossils found in the area and how they are used to make the furniture. This was my first experience... 更多
