When the wind gets up and you don't fancy a bumpy boat ride to an outlying island, then this beach is in my view the best place to visit.
It's clean and if you move close to edge of the beach area there are plenty of fish and star fish to be seen via snorkelling.
I just loved this beach, if you are looking for some quite and peace, ask the boat driver to drop you at the end of the beach (yes! they do that if they are willing) At the end there is a little house that would be lovely to rent for a summer vacation. This beach at the end is not...
Great key to visit nearby Gran Roque(main town) perfect to go on last day of the trip.. It really seems like pool of green calmed water, it could have some sea plants depending of the year.. It has restaurant but it takes a while to walk there..
We visited this beach as it was on our Posada's itinerary and it was the busiest one. Plenty of people, boats - some playing very loud music and locals selling food and drinks. Not our favourite but pleased we visited.
This was the closest island to us so we saved it for the last day. The beach was pretty deserted but the water and sand was not nearly as nice as the others we had already seen. We snorkeled on the other side but we didn't go far enough out to see the spectacular stuff (I'm not a great swimmer)....
