There is a room where you can watch a video of how there was an advert for people to come together to embroider this tapestry and it was very interesting to see how people who had no experience in this field volunteering to learn...
Have viewed this tapestry three times in the last few years. It never ceases to amaze, how intricate needlework can depict so much history. There's a Welsh and English translation all along, which makes the story easy to follow. A must for anyone visiting the area, as well as residents of Pembrokeshire.
This long tapestry was embroidered by local people and shows the French invasion of Fishguard in 1797.

This is really worth seeing. It is upstairs in the town hall and is free.
