We visited poppit sands beach whilst on holiday. You have to pay for parking per hour I think. There is a cafe but we didn't use it. We sat by the edge of the sand dunes so were protected from the wind. The beach was clean and not very busy. There were a lot of dog walkers which is fine... 更多
beautiful little beach, stunning views, nice place to stop for lunch, the Poppit rocket bus takes you to and from Cardigan to the beach, and some walking trails lead you around the Welsh coast past the beach.
A lovely wide and level beach with is also a site of special scientific interest. One side is dog friendly and the other side is great for families, so if you want a traditional bucket and spade day out, this is a good place to go. There is a car park, toilets and a cafe too.
Can be a little difficult to get down there, so just be weary of drivers and that the roads can become single lanes temporarily. Re-done the car park and now they charge :( but it's not a bad walk from St.Dogmaels (or a little longer from Cardigan) with plenty of pubs to hydrate you en route or the way back!... 更多
everything you need here for a family day out - beautiful sandy, clean beach - dogs not allowed on main beach part from may -October so safe for children. patrolled by lifeguards, cafe and toilets .
A great big wide open beach. Sand but stones at the top. My girl had the time of her life! Best beach we've been on bar Holkham. Dogs welcome, good cafe and nice RNLI shop. Plus a tap and bowl for watering and washing doggy off. Could spend a day here I imagine.
On reading about this beach for dogs, we eventually found it to visit. The beach has nothing to write about. The stench was terrible. Did not stay for long. The cafe was not much good.
