Beautiful area to walk down and see the falls and scenery. Suspension bridge is rather fun and only 6 at a time are allowed on this bridge. Easy to understand why once you are on it. Falls were spectacular thanks to the amount of rain Scotland was receiving. Only negative were the midges. The annoying little gnats that love to... 更多
It's a short walk from the car park to the top of the gorge and falls. The walk is popular with locals, one of whom told us that the route had been upgraded. You walk down to the falls but it's a shallow gradient and arrive at as suspension bridge providing birds eye views and great photo opportunities. We went... 更多
Stop by for the short walk to the gorge and you won't be disappointed. The husband was well impressed with the Corrieshalloch Gorge and the views and waterfalls you can see when you get there. Not for the vertiginous though!
National Trust for Scotland have upgraded the car park [small charge] & made gates to the broad paths which snake down the gorge to the suspension bridge & [across the other side] the viewpoint [max 6 people at a time]. Remember you have to climb back UP afterwards!
If you are traveling in between Ullapool and Iverness, make sure you stop at the Corrieshalloch Gorge. You can take a nice, not terribly strenuous, walk through the vegetation, to the gorge. The gorge is powerful and electrifying, don't miss it!
This is an astonishing place! The views from the pleasant walk down to the bridge are great, but when you get there, look to the right and admire the gorge until you get to the middle, then go to the right and look down and along, it's breathtaking! If you look down, the sudden increase in depth of the gorge... 更多
Well worth the short walk down from the car park to this stunning gorge that offers wonderful photo opportunities from the suspension bridge and view point , not for the faint hearted as its a long way down . Would recommend they finished off the security fencing under the view point .
The Corrieshalloch gorge and the Falls of Measach are a breathtaking sight only a short walk off the A835 and well worth the walk. The first sight of the gorge is from the short suspension bridge but the falls are best viewed from a viewing platform a little way further down the gorge. Well worth a visit.
