You don't expect it at all. Not even when you get close you can grasp how spectacular it is. You can only notice when you are on the bridge or from the viewing point. Highly recommended. Parking is free and it is easy to access.
Well worth a visit if you are in the area. Large parking area and easy access for all to the suspension bridge and viewing platform. Managed by National Trust Scotland who ask for a £2 donation towards upkeep, which is entirely reasonable. Better still join NTS (as we have) and get all the attractions for free.
Just down a little path, and you find a breathtaking falls and gorge. Spectacularly steep and really worth stopping off for for 15mins. Follow the path round after the suspension bridge to get an alternative view point.
Superb attraction with great views of the falls from the viewing platform just beyond the bridge. It's probably too far from the car park for those who aren't too fit.
Visited Ullapool on a round Britain cruise, Easter 2015. A beautiful place! Booked a taxi through Graham's Taxis 07517612619, email firstname.lastname@example.org. Great service £20 each way, half the price of the ship excursion. Corrieshalloch gorge us beautiful, there's a narrow bridge (max 6 people) and further on a viewing platform. Also fab views of the loch. Graham stopped for us... 更多
Visited for the first time since around 30 years ago. Spectacular but you need a head for heights to look down into the gorge. The bridge across to the viewpoint moves a bit but it's perfectly safe. Our dogs refused to cross it so we didn't get to the viewpoint. Thankfully......!
