An interesting museum of highland life around the area of Gairloch and Loch Ewe. Some trully delightful exhibits. Good for a rainy day.
This museum is a credit to all those who have had a part in its development. Although small, it covers many aspect of the history and life of the area and really added to our visit.
A tiny museum, set up very carefully and with lots of love to details. You take a journey into the past and can magine the teacher in the classroom or the person selling products in the grocery store. Really enjoyed this little museum, very interesting articles, especially the little schoolroom. Lovely old photographs and I found the fishing boat very nostalgic, I was imagining the fishermmen going out into the rough seas bringing in their catch.
