Fascinating tour (by excellent guide, Sally) - explaining and demonstrating musical boxes, reed organs, early phonographs, automatic pianos etc. The enthusiasm and knowledge shown really made it an exceptionally enjoyable and unusual afternoon.
A small museum where you are given a guided tour and told all about different organs, gramophones and music boxes. You get to listen to some wonderful tunes. The tour lasts one hour and costs £7, really worth it!
If you've ever wondered what came before juke boxes, how sophisticated musical boxes could get or what really top-of-the-range pianolas sounded like then this is the museum for you! And everything is explained by supremely enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff. This little treasure house is a "must visit" whenever you're in the Cotswolds!
Small but well worth the money. Really enthusiastic staff. Fascinating to actually hear all them all working and understand how they were made. Well worth going out of your way for a visit. Based in centre of lovely village with cafes and an excellent Wool Church too.
Really wonderful, great tour by very enthusiastic staff - with a huge selection of different musical machines over the ages. Only £8 and very good value for a full hour's tour
An extraordinary collection of wonderful old machines and an engaging curator / guide, Sally who operated the machines so enthusiastically. Highly recommended!

The sound from that box was so enchanting and thrilling. Therefore I highly recommend going to the Mechanical Music Museum. Take the tour of music. It... 更多
Firstly the village is a great find and not somewhere I'd been to before. This museum was really interesting and quite unexpected and we had a lovely and very knowledgable lady named Sally who took a group of us on a tour of the exhibits. Whether you are into history, music or. mechanical machines this will make you smile. Well... 更多
