I came across Drake's Leat purely by accident when wandering on Higher White Tor. I accessed the Leat from Two Bridges and walked to the weir. The Leat is well preserved with some collapse in places. Well worth a visit, Google it first.
This visit was not quite what we expected, whilst it was quite informative there could have been more about prison life. the entrance fee was reasonable for what there was to see.
