Lovely peaceful gardens to wander, enjoy a picnic, plenty of special corners to photograph, We spent the day there and it rained all day and still got some amazing photos. Would definitely be happy to visit several times. I have put 2-3 hours but its as long as you are happy to wander
The gardens were well signed and didn't disappoint -some lovely planting around each of the large ponds, and all quite different. Good cafe selling cakes, percolated coffee and nice ice cream.Places to have a picnic too.
Please don't all go there as the charm of this delightful place would be ruined by crowds. It is interesting all year round but in July is full of damselflies adding extra colour. The kingfisher usually appears if you are patient and quiet and you will not be able to resist taking photographs of the views. Just delightful.
Had a lovely relaxing and peaceful midweek visit to these stunning water gardens. You are provided with a simple easy to follow map on arrival along with a welcoming smile from the lady at the entrance. A very tranquil garden, laid out in a way which makes it appear much bigger than it actually is. A lovely tea shop with a huge variety of homemade cakes.
this is a family made garden and not fussed with statues and sculptures. filled with flowers and wild life. the staff were friendly and eager to tell stories of the gardens. plenty of seating and three covered areas for shade and keeping dry. the sight of the kingfisher catching a fish topped the day. the car park was grassy or... 更多
