Lovely walk, visit the reception first for a good informative DVD. Take bottles of water it can get very hot. Sited in more than one location around the area.
This is well worth a visit. There is a video presentation first, in different languages including English. Even after the video it helps to have a guide.
If you have only a day or even just a couple of hours in Antequera, Andalucia in Spain, then put the ancient Megalithic dolmens on top of your list. These unbelievable 6,500 - 7,000 year old monumental structures are unique and must be experienced. Two of them are located in the same vicinity and the third one four kilometers away.... 更多
A short drive from Antequera. Not a lot to see, however. There was a video you could watch in the Reception Centre, but it was full of school children when we arrived, so we didn't bother. Do visit the olive oil museum not too far away. Really interesting.
In the outskirts of Antequera is this very old, and highly interesting archeologic site. There are 2 graves, and especially the one with huge big Stones are exiting. The compensation of the big Stones and the light coming in from the entrance gives a feeling of going back in time. Unfortunately we did not see the museum as this closed... 更多
What a wonderful historical site and in walking distance of the old part of Antequera. Started with a film explaining what the Dolmen was, who built it and depicting how it may have been built. Very informative and interesting. Inside the Dolmen was awe inspiring in terms of man's achievement at that time
Definitely worth seeing. Stunning magnificent too big for any words, but a missed opportunity to really explain things well. Especially the art and the overall plan of things. What a wonder both for them 5000 years ago and for us.
