Beautiful walks with splendid views of the lake. Playgrounds for children. Nice family friendly comfortable cafe serves tasty lunches and snacks. Admission fee €8 per adult a little bit expensive for off peak season. I would imagine it would be better to visit later in the season when gardens are in bloom.
A fantastic day out. Beautiful grounds in a serene lakeside setting. Woodland walkways interspersed with picnic areas and childrens' play areas. A tour of the house itself is optional. There is even a doggie creche. There is also a visitor's centre, shop and fabulous restaurant (which can be busy in summer especially when the weather is nice) and large groups... 更多
Belvedere house and gardens are a lovely day out for all, from informative displays and signs to a beautiful courtyard and mouth watering food. A lovely walled garden with secluded benches for a quiet seating area, please note the walled garden is on a slight slope with a few steps but a path circumventing the garden is wheelchair accessible. There... 更多
This is by far my favourite spot to visit in Mullingar. Beautiful landscape! I have been visiting Belvedere since I was a child. Such an exciting place for children and even adults! They have lovely events on throughout the year. Can't wait to bring my dog for a big long walk next week! Only downside is that the price to... 更多
I found the service mediocre. The food was not really to my liking with far too much on the plate. Salad consists of just rocket (which not everyone likes). Breakfast is good though.
I love visiting this place when I go home. I have taken some friends there. lots of stories about this place. the gardens are so beautiful for taken pictures. bring your warm coat, when its cold you will feel it there. I think the ghost from past make it chilly. lol.
Visited this place on Sunday. The weather was pleasant, which added to our enjoyment. There are some lovely, easy walks through the gardens. The house itself, though small, is impressive, as is the Jealous Wall and the history behind it. There are 3 play areas and a very warm and inviting cafe/restaurant - so something for all the family!!
Spent a lovely morning just wandering around this beautiful place on 8th Jan. Were not able to see it all but will be returning in near future.
